This test strip is calibrated at 0, 500, 1000, 1500, 2300 and 3000ppm, and gives results in just seconds. Peracetic acid is another sanitizing agent, and the Peracetic Acid 0-3000ppm test strip is primarily used for applications demanding a high level of disinfection. Peracetic acid ultimately degrades to water, oxygen, and carbon dioxide, making it more environmentally-friendly than chlorine. Note: Peroxide concentration levels in diluted samples up to 5% will not interfere with the test.

Product Documentation
Does the presence of hydrogen peroxide in solution impair the performance of Peracetic Acid test strips?
Peracetic acid formulations usually contain acetic acid and hydrogen peroxide to stabilize the peracetic acid. The Precision Laboratories PAA test strips have been developed to determine the peracetic acid level in the presence of acetic acid and hydrogen peroxide.
The standards we use to evaluate the strip performance are prepared from an commercially available concentrates that is about 15-18% peracetic acid. The actual peracetic acid content of the standards is verified using a drop count test kit.
